GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS chianti-and-more Panzano in Chianti

Your booking becomes effective once CHIANTI & MORE has received the duly signed booking form and a 30% deposit. The balance is payable not later than 45 days before the beginning of the rental period. In the case of bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, payment in full is due immediately. The amount payable will be specified in the booking form and is settled through bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.
After having received the signed booking form and the payment, CHIANTI & MORE will send you a confirmation of your booking. After having received the balance, CHIANTI & MORE will send you your voucher (e-mail or letter) and the directions on how to reach your accommodation.
The voucher contains all the necessary information regarding arrival and departure times, address, caretaker and any additional costs. The voucher has to be shown to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival.
Additional costs, as defined in the property description, the booking form and the voucher, are payable to the owner or the caretaker before departure.
Times of arrival and departure (details in your voucher) must be strictly adhered to.
The passports of the client and all members of his/her party have to be registered at the moment of arrival in accordance with Italian law.
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaint regarding any aspect of the holiday accommodation, the client shall notify CHIANTI & MORE immediately.
A breakage deposit will be requested upon arrival. As mentioned in your voucher, the breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker. The client and his/her party shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client or a member of his/her party breaks or damages anything in the holiday home, the owner or CHIANTI & MORE must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client or a member of his/her party will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
As also mentioned in your voucher, the tourist tax is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the paid tourist tax.
Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the persons mentioned in the rental contract and the number of people indicated on the property description (infants, children and teenagers included). Baby cribs and children's beds should be requested - if available - prior to your arrival.
Pets are allowed only if mentioned in the property description. In any case, the client must list pets on the booking form and pets must be confirmed on the voucher.
The client shall take full responsibility for the safety and conduct of him/herself and all other members of his/her party.
In the unlikely event that the booked and confirmed property should no longer be available, the client may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance. No further compensation can be paid. In addition, CHIANTI & MORE will attempt to offer at least one alternative, similar property. In this case, the due rental rate is to be redefined.
Cancellation policy
1. cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 30% of the total amount + bank fees
2. cancellation from 59 to 46 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 50% of the total amount + bank fees
3. cancellation from 45 to 21 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 90% of the total amount + bank fees
4. cancellation within 20 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable full amount
The infrastructure of the Tuscan countryside may be different from that in your country. Access to some of the properties offered is via dirt roads, which may cause difficulties for cars with low suspension or for motorbikes.
Electricity may be interrupted during thunderstorms and this can also cause short interruptions of the water supply, which often depends on electric pumps.
Please use water carefully! Swimming pools are usually open from June to mid October.

Karin: Over all, we loved the Villa and staff. Great location, well maintained and well stocked with extras, especially the kitchen. Cannot say enough about Saverio! A true gentleman! While we had small problem with the gas service for the kitchen cook top, he went beyond what was necessary buy inviting all of us to his home for a lovely dinner. Most gracious! So, would we return? For my wife and I, absolutely!!! Thank you, again, for all your help. We look forward to working with you again in the near future. Please keep us on your mailing list

Chianti & More is a rental agency and so much more! From my requesting information, to our leaving Panzano, we could not have had a better experience. I blindly contacted Chianti & More online to get more info and Karin responded quickly. I knew immediately I wanted to limit my search for a Tuscan Villa to the properties she offers. Karin is local, she knows all the properties & property owners personally and can make a solid testimonial. I gave her our "wish list" and she made a perfect recommendation to us. So many of the other property management companies have no direct contact or firsthand knowledge of the properties. Once the decision was made the communication and booking process was very smooth. After booking we received a very comprehensive document from Karin detailing all the many things available to do in and around the Chianti region. Karin also assisted us in advance by making restaurant recommendations and giving us day-trip tips. This was a trip to celebrate my 50th birthday. My husband & I traveled with 2 other couples for a total of 6 people. We rented a villa in Panzano, a stunning property. It is a shared property, though we never even saw or heard the other guests. Our unit occupies the upper floor with the stunning views from every bedroom window, the living room and a wonderful terrace. We were greeted by Mr. Gabrielle, very friendly and helpful property manager. The Villa has 4 large bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, a very large and well-equipped kitchen, a formal dining room and living room. And then there is the covered terrace with spectacular views. It is very well maintained and provided for all our needs. We were a bit too early to enjoy swimming in the pool, but we did hang out by it and enjoy the vistas. From Panzano we were able to make day trips to Pisa, Siena, Florence, Volterra & Montepulciano and each evening return to our wonderful Villa. The food at the four different restaurants in Panzano that we tried was excellent and the Gelato… well …  There is an open air market on Sundays to set you up for making your own meals if you like. A convenient local market, butcher shops & pharmacy if needed open every day. Honestly, my only complaint is that we had to leave. Thank you Karin, Rosanna, Mr. Gabrielle for helping make this by far the best birthday I have had in my 50 years…

Hi Karin, It was an absolute pleasure meeting you as well. Thank you so very much for all your help in organizing what quickly became out favorite vacation to date! We loved the tuscan countryside and the wines. You service, the accommodations and especially Simone's knowledge and driving were excellent points of our time in Italy. I would strongly recommend Chianti & More to any of my friends who are traveling to Italy.
