GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS chianti-and-more Panzano in Chianti

Your booking becomes effective once CHIANTI & MORE has received the duly signed booking form and a 30% deposit. The balance is payable not later than 45 days before the beginning of the rental period. In the case of bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, payment in full is due immediately. The amount payable will be specified in the booking form and is settled through bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.
After having received the signed booking form and the payment, CHIANTI & MORE will send you a confirmation of your booking. After having received the balance, CHIANTI & MORE will send you your voucher (e-mail or letter) and the directions on how to reach your accommodation.
The voucher contains all the necessary information regarding arrival and departure times, address, caretaker and any additional costs. The voucher has to be shown to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival.
Additional costs, as defined in the property description, the booking form and the voucher, are payable to the owner or the caretaker before departure.
Times of arrival and departure (details in your voucher) must be strictly adhered to.
The passports of the client and all members of his/her party have to be registered at the moment of arrival in accordance with Italian law.
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaint regarding any aspect of the holiday accommodation, the client shall notify CHIANTI & MORE immediately.
A breakage deposit will be requested upon arrival. As mentioned in your voucher, the breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker. The client and his/her party shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client or a member of his/her party breaks or damages anything in the holiday home, the owner or CHIANTI & MORE must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client or a member of his/her party will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
As also mentioned in your voucher, the tourist tax is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the paid tourist tax.
Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the persons mentioned in the rental contract and the number of people indicated on the property description (infants, children and teenagers included). Baby cribs and children's beds should be requested - if available - prior to your arrival.
Pets are allowed only if mentioned in the property description. In any case, the client must list pets on the booking form and pets must be confirmed on the voucher.
The client shall take full responsibility for the safety and conduct of him/herself and all other members of his/her party.
In the unlikely event that the booked and confirmed property should no longer be available, the client may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance. No further compensation can be paid. In addition, CHIANTI & MORE will attempt to offer at least one alternative, similar property. In this case, the due rental rate is to be redefined.
Cancellation policy
1. cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 30% of the total amount + bank fees
2. cancellation from 59 to 46 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 50% of the total amount + bank fees
3. cancellation from 45 to 21 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 90% of the total amount + bank fees
4. cancellation within 20 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable full amount
The infrastructure of the Tuscan countryside may be different from that in your country. Access to some of the properties offered is via dirt roads, which may cause difficulties for cars with low suspension or for motorbikes.
Electricity may be interrupted during thunderstorms and this can also cause short interruptions of the water supply, which often depends on electric pumps.
Please use water carefully! Swimming pools are usually open from June to mid October.

Hi Karin, Panzano was a highlight of our trip and was a better experience than we expected. A few more days longer would have been ideal but it was not possible. The wine tasting experiences were great and were thoroughly enjoyed; The service you provided was impeccable. It is difficult to really get an understanding of what you’ll be getting when organising something like this from the other side of the world. There is always some doubt and nervousness but you made us feel the best we could and were very responsive to my 10,000 emails, so that added to the overall experience. The villa, our whole group agreed, was superb and above expectations and we were more than satisfied with the facilities. I think the table tennis table made it an 11/10 and the signed photo was a nice touch. Joel and I commented that the photos on the website did not do it justice. I have no doubt that our group will remember the experience they had at the villa forever. If we are fortunate enough we will return one day, and our first point of communication will be to Chianti & More as the experience of booking with you was a very good one and contributed to the overall success and enjoyment of our trip. Dear Karin, We enyoyed our stay in the wonderful house. It was very comfortabel with the three sleepingrooms and bathrooms. The children love to play in the garden. We made a nice bbq at home. The location is amazing, in the beginning of the little village near the wineyards. The house was clean and well maintained. Is was nice you answered so quick, that makes the contact easily. The picture of the sitting and diningroom are not very clear. We thought that it was smaller! Julia and the lady who is cleaning where both very friendly and supporting.

Dearest Karin, Thank you for your e-mails and kind wishes, and yes – we are safely arrived home after the most wonderful of holidays. We touched down in Cape Town yesterday afternoon and all went well. And yes – our holiday that you paid such a pivotal part in arranging exceeded our expectations, and I am much relieved to say that the whole concept of getting that many family and friends together was a successful and happy one. The feedback received so far suggests that everyone had a good time, so thank you to you for all your hard work and patience in looking after us, and again thank you for being there at the lunch. Both of the villas were awesome. So – thank you for everything again and I have no doubt that it will only be a short time before we start missing you all and begin thinking of another reason to return - who knows ?
