GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS chianti-and-more Panzano in Chianti

Your booking becomes effective once CHIANTI & MORE has received the duly signed booking form and a 30% deposit. The balance is payable not later than 45 days before the beginning of the rental period. In the case of bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, payment in full is due immediately. The amount payable will be specified in the booking form and is settled through bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.
After having received the signed booking form and the payment, CHIANTI & MORE will send you a confirmation of your booking. After having received the balance, CHIANTI & MORE will send you your voucher (e-mail or letter) and the directions on how to reach your accommodation.
The voucher contains all the necessary information regarding arrival and departure times, address, caretaker and any additional costs. The voucher has to be shown to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival.
Additional costs, as defined in the property description, the booking form and the voucher, are payable to the owner or the caretaker before departure.
Times of arrival and departure (details in your voucher) must be strictly adhered to.
The passports of the client and all members of his/her party have to be registered at the moment of arrival in accordance with Italian law.
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaint regarding any aspect of the holiday accommodation, the client shall notify CHIANTI & MORE immediately.
A breakage deposit will be requested upon arrival. As mentioned in your voucher, the breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker. The client and his/her party shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client or a member of his/her party breaks or damages anything in the holiday home, the owner or CHIANTI & MORE must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client or a member of his/her party will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
As also mentioned in your voucher, the tourist tax is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the paid tourist tax.
Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the persons mentioned in the rental contract and the number of people indicated on the property description (infants, children and teenagers included). Baby cribs and children's beds should be requested - if available - prior to your arrival.
Pets are allowed only if mentioned in the property description. In any case, the client must list pets on the booking form and pets must be confirmed on the voucher.
The client shall take full responsibility for the safety and conduct of him/herself and all other members of his/her party.
In the unlikely event that the booked and confirmed property should no longer be available, the client may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance. No further compensation can be paid. In addition, CHIANTI & MORE will attempt to offer at least one alternative, similar property. In this case, the due rental rate is to be redefined.
Cancellation policy
1. cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 30% of the total amount + bank fees
2. cancellation from 59 to 46 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 50% of the total amount + bank fees
3. cancellation from 45 to 21 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 90% of the total amount + bank fees
4. cancellation within 20 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable full amount
The infrastructure of the Tuscan countryside may be different from that in your country. Access to some of the properties offered is via dirt roads, which may cause difficulties for cars with low suspension or for motorbikes.
Electricity may be interrupted during thunderstorms and this can also cause short interruptions of the water supply, which often depends on electric pumps.
Please use water carefully! Swimming pools are usually open from June to mid October.

The rambling 17th century farmhouse is located at the edge of the village of Panzano in Chianti and looks over the organic vineyards and olive groves of the famous Conca d`oro, Chianti`s best wine Region, enjoying walking distance to town.

The views are magic and you will never get enough. The impressive stone-built villa with its traditional Tuscan architecture was exceptionally restored and divided into five spacious, luxurious apartments that meet highest standards. Each apartment (this one offers four ensuite-bedrooms and has 250 sqm) is harmoniously furnished with antiques and Tuscan country-style pieces.

Stylish fabrics and exquisite accessories complete the furnishing. Cosy bedrooms with beautiful iron beds and high quality bed linen create an outstanding atmosphere. All four en-suite bathrooms are very tastefully equipped. Each apartment enjoys a private garden and terrace.

The elegant swimming-pool (18 x 8 m) and a very spacious patio is shared among all guests at the villa. A separate meeting hall (suitable for meetings) and catering can be rented for events / dinners. Although the villa is privately located within old olive groves and wonderful vineyards, it is only a two minutes walk into the village of Panzano where there are all kind of shops, very good restaurants and several wine bars. An invaluable advantage for relaxing vacation!

Dear Karin Would you recommend Chianti & more to friends and relatives? Absolutely. It was a pleasure dealing with Karin, who provided prompt and thorough answers to my numberous questions and requests Prior to your vacation: Promptness of our service? Karin was prompt in replying and answering my queries. Capacity of understanding your needs? Despite largely having to interact via e-mails (time difference is 9 hours for us!), her info was clearly stated, thorough, and timely. Information about the facility? When we contacted Chianti & More, they provided several possible Villas that could meet our needs. Karin addressed our need for additional space for a few days when our headcount would grow from 7 to 11. The summaries, detailed descriptions and many photos gave a very good indication of the lodgings and amenities, location, rooms and layout, etc. Karin helped guide us as we needed more info to narrow our choice down to the right place for our stay. Our whole family agreed that we couldn’t have made a better selection for our stay in Tuscany. During your vacation: Cleanness of your vacation home? The villa was clean, bright and cheerful, and very roomy. It even provided for two bedrooms for our teenage grandkids that were adjacent but physically separated from the rest of our space. They could make noise and not disturb everyone else. Equipment of your vacation home? Fully equipped as promised, and enough to allow “guest” chefs to cook a few special meals for us. Furniture and decoration? Ample, appropriate, and comfortable. Beds were very nice. Location? Ideal. Walkable to the village and grocery store. Beautiful views, and serene. Scenery in each direction was beautiful, and varied. Please advise if you have any comments on our website or the property presentations, photos, offered services etc. While photos and video gave a good feel for the Villa, we found the rooms to be larger and nicer than we expected. Karin arranged for chefs, and also booked a few restaurants for or first few days in Chianti.
