GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS chianti-and-more Panzano in Chianti

Your booking becomes effective once CHIANTI & MORE has received the duly signed booking form and a 30% deposit. The balance is payable not later than 45 days before the beginning of the rental period. In the case of bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, payment in full is due immediately. The amount payable will be specified in the booking form and is settled through bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.
After having received the signed booking form and the payment, CHIANTI & MORE will send you a confirmation of your booking. After having received the balance, CHIANTI & MORE will send you your voucher (e-mail or letter) and the directions on how to reach your accommodation.
The voucher contains all the necessary information regarding arrival and departure times, address, caretaker and any additional costs. The voucher has to be shown to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival.
Additional costs, as defined in the property description, the booking form and the voucher, are payable to the owner or the caretaker before departure.
Times of arrival and departure (details in your voucher) must be strictly adhered to.
The passports of the client and all members of his/her party have to be registered at the moment of arrival in accordance with Italian law.
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaint regarding any aspect of the holiday accommodation, the client shall notify CHIANTI & MORE immediately.
A breakage deposit will be requested upon arrival. As mentioned in your voucher, the breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker. The client and his/her party shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client or a member of his/her party breaks or damages anything in the holiday home, the owner or CHIANTI & MORE must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client or a member of his/her party will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
As also mentioned in your voucher, the tourist tax is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the paid tourist tax.
Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the persons mentioned in the rental contract and the number of people indicated on the property description (infants, children and teenagers included). Baby cribs and children's beds should be requested - if available - prior to your arrival.
Pets are allowed only if mentioned in the property description. In any case, the client must list pets on the booking form and pets must be confirmed on the voucher.
The client shall take full responsibility for the safety and conduct of him/herself and all other members of his/her party.
In the unlikely event that the booked and confirmed property should no longer be available, the client may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance. No further compensation can be paid. In addition, CHIANTI & MORE will attempt to offer at least one alternative, similar property. In this case, the due rental rate is to be redefined.
Cancellation policy
1. cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 30% of the total amount + bank fees
2. cancellation from 59 to 46 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 50% of the total amount + bank fees
3. cancellation from 45 to 21 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 90% of the total amount + bank fees
4. cancellation within 20 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable full amount
The infrastructure of the Tuscan countryside may be different from that in your country. Access to some of the properties offered is via dirt roads, which may cause difficulties for cars with low suspension or for motorbikes.
Electricity may be interrupted during thunderstorms and this can also cause short interruptions of the water supply, which often depends on electric pumps.
Please use water carefully! Swimming pools are usually open from June to mid October.

i Karin, The service in response to my inquiries about a number of properties and dates was extremely prompt and responsive. I initially explored a number of options, with emails to many, but because Karin was so responsive and helpful, I ended up really focusing on the Chianti-and-more options. The website was very user friendly, and the photos of the properties were so beautiful that your properties caught my attention and kept it! The properties in your offerings were all so beautiful, and the photos showing the interiors were very helpful in helping to narrow my decision. I also asked Karin a number of questions about a nubmer of the properties, as well as distances to other places, closest airports, etc. Again, Karin was extremely responsive and helpful in providing information in response to my many questions. She also helped me to locate a place to stay in Florence. I was really appreciative of all the help Karin provided. She is tremendously helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. We could not have loved staying at Panzanello more! The location, apartment, views, the owners and staff, were all WONDERFUL! We traveled in Italy for two weeks - going to Venice, Florence and Cinque Terre. However, our visit to Chiati, and our stay at Panzanello in Panzano was by far the best part of our trip. The owners and staff were so gracious and welcoming. They made us feel at home, and we loved the fact that we were staying at a working organic vineyard. The location and views were so beautiful. The website photos gave us a true sense of the location and apartment. We loved our side trips to Siena, and the local vineyards. The town of Panzano, with the Officina Bisteca and Encoteca Baldi (where we took wonderful cooking lessons from Mimmo) were fantastic. Again, everyone was so warm and made us feel right at home. And, Karin was extremely helpful in providing us information about local restaurants, grocery stores and vineyards. Tucscany stole our hearts. We cannot wait to return. Thanks again, Karin. Good Morning Karin I would like to begin by thanking you for all of your help. Your knowledge, attentiveness to our needs, quick responses & passion for your work is so apparent and because of you our holiday was flawless. VILLA #147 was well kept and the pictures on the website supplied an exact vision. The villa was spacious with all of the amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. We spent many mornings & evenings, within our two week stay, gathering outside, waiting for the sun to rise & set. The views from the villa were breathtaking! The property is well kept & manicured. The property manager responded to our questions in a timely manner. The cleaning staff was scheduled twice during our stay & we were very satisfied with her work. The tour of the winery was an extra treat! The personal chef services you recommended were superb! Lastly, the transfer service you arranged worked out perfectly. We arrived at the airport promptly. We were all impressed that he accepted the job on his scheduled day off. That alone says a lot about the relationships you formed and cultivalted. Thank You Darlene DF

Dear Karin, I hope the fall season in Italy is treating you well and you are staying warm. We are back home and thinking back on our fabulous trip to Italy. It was everything we had imagined it would be. The food, wine and ambiance was lovely. Thank you for helping us find the perfect place to stay and all your assistance in making our trip go so smoothly. It was so nice to meet you too! The villa was beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. Alessio was truly an asset to the Villa experience. Always helpful and available to assist us in anyway. He was a delight. The Chef was one of the biggest highlights to our stay. She is fabulous. Not only a wonderful cook…. She was fun and showed us cooking with love ! Her recipes will be used and passed down to our family. They can’t wait to make the laminated pasta she taught us to make. Thank the owners for the use of their home. Please let them know their home made some beautiful memories for us and our guests that came to stay. I hope we can come back again someday….
